An Executive MPV waiting at night outside a Georgian townhouse

Questions

Everything people ask before booking

Fifteen questions, grouped the way they come up: booking, the airport itself, vehicles and luggage, then price and payment.

Booking

How far ahead should we book?

A week is comfortable, a day is usually fine, and same-day journeys are worth a phone call. In July and August, and around the Ryder Cup, book as early as you can.

Do you take a deposit?

Asking for a quote costs nothing. Your booking is confirmed when you accept our offer, and the quote itself sets out how payment is settled for that journey.

Can we change the time after booking?

Yes, subject to the vehicle being free. Tell us as early as you can and we confirm the change in writing, with the new price first if it moves. Flight changes are handled for you, since we are watching the flight anyway.

How late can we cancel?

Up to forty eight hours before pickup. Later than that, phone us as early as you can and we will confirm what applies to your booking.

At the airport

Where will the chauffeur be?

Inside the arrivals hall with a sign showing the lead passenger name. At Shannon and Kerry this is a very short walk. At Dublin we confirm the terminal in advance.

What if the flight is delayed?

Nothing changes for you. We monitor the flight and move the pickup with it. Thirty minutes of complimentary waiting time are already included.

What if we cannot find the driver?

The chauffeur name and mobile number are in your confirmation. Dispatch also answers around the clock on the main number.

Vehicles and luggage

How much luggage fits?

An Executive Sedan takes two large cases, an Executive SUV three, and an Executive MPV up to ten when the seats are not all taken. If you are close to the limit, tell us and we will send the next category up rather than risk it.

Can you carry golf clubs, skis or a buggy?

Yes. Mention them in the enquiry so the right vehicle comes. Clubs travel with the party on golf itineraries.

Do you provide child seats?

Yes, free of charge. We need the ages of the children to bring the correct seat or booster.

Which vehicle will we actually get?

We quote by category rather than by model, so you are choosing seats and luggage space. The category we confirm is the category that arrives.

Price and payment

Is the price fixed?

Yes. The figure in your written quote is what you pay. No meter, no surge pricing, and tolls and parking are inside it.

How do we pay?

Card or cash with the chauffeur on the day, or by secure payment link when we invoice. Account customers settle on the terms agreed in their contract.

Do you charge extra for night journeys?

The quote covers the journey at the time you asked for, including nights and public holidays.

Do you serve Northern Ireland?

Yes. Belfast International is one of the five main airports we work from, Belfast City and other airports are covered on request, and a cross-border journey stays with us end to end.

Not answered here?

Phone at any hour, or send the journey and we will answer with a price.

Honest limits

What we do not do

Cheaper to say it here than to disappoint you later.

  • Shared or pooled transfersEvery journey is private. If you are looking for a seat on a shuttle, we are not the cheaper option.
  • Self-drive hireWe do not rent cars. Every vehicle comes with a licensed chauffeur.
  • Unaccompanied minorsChildren travel with an adult from the party. We cannot take responsibility for a child travelling alone.
  • Hourly city work under an hourA minimum fare applies. For a five minute hop across town a taxi is the honest answer.
