Six categories, two to seventy seats

We quote by category rather than by model, so the seat count and the luggage bay are what you are choosing.

Categories

Two seats to seventy

The minivan is the most requested category: seven seats, seven large cases, individual rear seating and a step-in that suits older travellers. Couples on airport runs take the executive sedan, castle approaches and coastal roads take the SUV, and anything above eight people moves to a minibus rather than two cars.

The service

Chauffeur driven cars, from two seats to seventy

Every vehicle on this page comes with a licensed chauffeur. We do not hire cars out and we do not put two parties in the same vehicle. What you book is a category, a driver and a fixed price.

We quote by category rather than by model, because the model tells you almost nothing useful. What matters is how many people sit down and how many cases go in the back, and those two numbers sit on every card above.

The Executive MPV is the most requested category: seven to eight seats, up to ten large cases when the seats are not all taken, individual rear seating and a step-in that suits older travellers. Couples with four cases end up in one more often than they expect.

Cars are dark, plain and unmarked. No livery, no roof sign, nothing that announces a transfer company at a hotel door. They are valeted between journeys and serviced at main dealer intervals, and if one goes off the road on the morning of your booking, dispatch works the replacement and calls you with the position.

  • Read it by luggage first

Seats are rarely the limit. The boot usually decides the category.

  • One party per vehicle

Never shared, never pooled, whatever the size of the group.

  • No livery, ever

Plain dark bodywork that does not announce itself at a hotel door.

  • A category, confirmed in writing

The category you accept is the category that arrives.

  • Climate control front and rear
  • Child seats and boosters, free of charge
  • Charging for phones and laptops
  • Valeted between every journey

Upkeep

How the cars are kept

  • Valeted between journeys

Inside and out, every time. A car that has just done an airport run is cleaned before the next one.

  • Serviced on schedule

Main dealer intervals, with tyres and brakes checked more often than the book requires.

  • Fully licensed and insured

Small public service vehicle licences, public and passenger liability cover in force.

  • Cover from one dispatch desk

If a vehicle goes off the road on the morning of your journey, dispatch works the replacement and calls you with the position rather than leaving you to find out at the kerb.

Questions

About the vehicles

Will we get the exact car in the photograph?

We confirm a category, not a registration. The photographs show the standard we hold each category to, and the category you accept is the one that arrives.

Are the cars black?

Dark bodywork with a leather or fabric interior, kept plain. No livery, no roof signs, nothing that announces a transfer company at a hotel door.

Can a wheelchair travel?

A folding chair travels in every category. For a fixed-frame chair tell us in the enquiry and we will confirm the right vehicle in writing before you book.

What if the party grows after booking?

Tell us and we move you up a category. It is a new price, confirmed in writing, not a surcharge added on the day.
