The service

Private transfers from Shannon Airport, in one car

Shannon is our home airport. The office is twenty six kilometres away on the Ennis Road in Limerick, which is why a chauffeur is usually already on this side of the country when your flight is called.

A Shannon Airport transfer is one vehicle for your party alone. Your chauffeur is inside the arrivals hall before you clear the belts, holding a sign with the lead passenger name, and the price was agreed in writing before you left home. No meter, no surge, and nothing added for parking at the terminal.

The airport has a single terminal and a car park two minutes from the door, so the walk from the sign to the car is short even with four cases and a set of clubs. Transatlantic flights land early and leave late; dispatch runs around the clock, so an 05:00 departure is booked the same way as anything else.

Shannon Airport terminal
  • Two minutes to the car

One terminal and a car park by the door. No shuttle bus and no long walk with cases.

  • Thirty minutes of complimentary waiting

Included in the price at every airport.

  • The west within two hours

Galway, the Cliffs of Moher, the Burren and Killarney all inside a single morning.

  • A written quote, usually the same day

Fixed price, vehicle category and the meeting point, in writing, usually the same day.

How far the west is

  • Limerick City

25 minutes down the N18, our home city.

  • Cliffs of Moher

1 h 10 min on the coast road, the most requested detour.

  • Galway City

1 h 20 min north on the M18, almost all motorway.

  • Killarney

2 h 05 min south, the gateway to the Ring of Kerry.

Adare, Dromoland and Bunratty sit close enough to the road to add as a stop rather than book as a separate journey.

  • Luggage handled

Cases go into the car for you. Golf bags, buggies and skis are fine, tell us in advance so the right vehicle comes.

  • Parked close by

Short walk to the car park at Shannon, usually under three minutes from the arrivals door.

Questions

Shannon, specifically

All questions
Where exactly do we meet?

Inside the arrivals hall, past the baggage belts, with your name on a sign. If you prefer the kerb, say so in the enquiry and we will confirm the stand.

What happens if the flight is late?

We monitor the flight, so the pickup time moves with it. Thirty minutes of complimentary waiting time are included, and a delayed arrival is not charged as waiting.

Do you cover late night arrivals?

Yes. Dispatch runs twenty four hours, every day of the year, and night arrivals are booked the same way as any other.

Can we stop on the way?

Bunratty, the Cliffs of Moher and Adare all sit close to the route west. Add the stop to the enquiry and it is quoted with the journey.

Do you provide transport from Shannon Airport to Galway, Killarney and Dingle?

Yes. Those three, the Cliffs of Moher, Limerick, Adare and Dublin are our most frequent journeys from Shannon, each quoted as one fixed price with tolls and parking inside. The route pages list times and distances.

Is there a private car service at Shannon Airport?

That is what we do. One vehicle held for your party, a chauffeur waiting inside arrivals with a name sign, and a price agreed in writing before you fly. Nothing is added at the end of the journey.
