Questions

About this day

How is this different from the Slea Head Drive half day?

This day starts and ends in Killarney and adds Inch Beach, lunch in Dingle and Gallarus Oratory. If you are already staying in Dingle, the half day from the town covers the Slea Head loop on its own.

Do you drive over the Conor Pass?

Only in good visibility, and only if you would like to. It is a narrow mountain road, so we decide on the day rather than promise it in advance.

Is the Dingle day worth it in bad weather?

Dingle town and the Blasket Centre work in any weather. The coastal viewpoints are best in clear conditions, so we move them to the brightest part of the day.

Can we stay longer in Dingle town?

Yes. Tell us before the day or on the way, and we will trim one of the coastal stops so the drive back to Killarney still fits within eight hours.

Are entry tickets on the Dingle peninsula included?

No. The Blasket Centre and the sites along Slea Head that charge for entry are paid by you on the door.
