All year. Muckross House opens daily from 09:15, with last entry between 16:00 and 17:40 depending on the month, so a morning visit works in every season.

How long do we spend in Muckross House?
About an hour and a quarter is planned. If you want longer in the house, we take the time from the drive to Ladies View instead.
Is the Muckross half day a good choice for our first day in Killarney?
Yes. All four stops are in or beside the national park, the drives between them are short, and you are back before lunch.
Can we do the half day in the afternoon?
Yes. Last entry to Muckross House is 16:00 in winter and later from April, so an afternoon start works as long as the house comes first.
Can we add the Traditional Farms at Muckross?
Only if you ask, because it takes time away from the waterfall and Ladies View. A joint ticket for the house and the farms is sold at Muckross House.
Can we add the Gap of Dunloe to this half day?
Not within four hours alongside the house. The Gap of Dunloe sits better in a full day, which we are happy to quote for you.
