Questions
About this day
How is this different from the Dingle day tour from Killarney?
This half day begins and ends in Dingle town and covers only the Slea Head loop. Choose it if you are already staying on the peninsula; from Killarney, the full day includes the drive out and back.
Can we stop for photographs anywhere on the Slea Head Drive?
Yes, wherever it is safe to pull in. The road narrows in places, so the chauffeur picks a lay-by rather than stopping on a bend.
Is four hours enough for Slea Head?
For the loop and the main stops, yes. If you want a long cliff walk or an afternoon on a beach, a full day gives you room for it.
Can we start the Slea Head half day in the afternoon?
Yes. Between March and November the Blasket Centre takes its last admission at 17:15, so an early afternoon start still leaves time for the visit.
Are entry tickets included?
No. The Blasket Centre and the other sites on the loop that charge for entry are paid by you on the door.
