Is Charles Fort open all year?
Yes. Heritage Ireland lists it as open every day, from 10:00 to 18:00 between mid March and October and from 10:00 to 17:00 in winter, with last admission an hour before closing.
What does Charles Fort cost to enter?
EUR 5 for an adult, according to Heritage Ireland at the time of writing. You pay at the fort, and it is not part of the vehicle price.
Is the Jameson distillery tour included?
No. You book and pay for the distillery experience yourself. Tell us which one you have chosen and we will time the afternoon to it.
Who drives after the tasting at Midleton?
The chauffeur, who is working and does not take part. Everyone in the party is free to.
Can the day run the other way round?
Yes. Midleton in the morning and Kinsale in the afternoon works just as well, and leaves the harbour for the later light.
