Questions

About this day

How long do we spend at Kylemore Abbey?

About two and a half hours, which covers the abbey rooms, the lakeside path and the walled garden at an easy pace. If the garden is the main reason for the trip, tell us and we will shorten another stop instead.

Is Kylemore entry included in the price?

No. The price covers the car, the chauffeur, fuel and parking, while the Kylemore ticket is paid by you on the day. We can tell you before the trip whether buying ahead makes sense for your date.

Can we go further out to Clifden or the Sky Road?

Yes, if you tell us when you book. Adding the Clifden side means less time at Kylemore or at Leenane, because the whole day still has to fit inside eight hours.

What happens if the weather closes in over the mountains?

Connemara changes by the hour, so the chauffeur reorders the stops rather than cancelling them. Kylemore and the walled garden are worth seeing in rain, and the valley views wait for a clear spell.

Can you collect us outside Galway city?

Yes, from any address in or around Galway, including Salthill and the hotels on the Oranmore side. The collection point is agreed in the quote.
