Questions

About this day

How long do we spend at Glendalough?

Two hours in the plan. That is enough for the monastic site and a walk towards the Upper Lake, and the chauffeur waits at the car park, so the time can stretch if the day allows.

What happens if the mountain road is in cloud?

We tell you on the morning and take the valley roads instead. There is little point stopping at Lough Tay when the lake is hidden, and Glendalough is worth the day in any weather.

Can you collect us from a hotel at Dublin Airport?

Yes. Collection is from any hotel in Dublin city or around the airport, and the day ends at the door you choose.

Is the Glendalough visitor centre included?

Entry tickets are not in the price. The chauffeur can drop you at the visitor centre first if you want the exhibition before the walk.
